Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends and family!

We are missing friends and family today.

But in the midst of all the things we
remember and miss we are looking past
what we don't have and focusing on what we
do have.  We are thankful for all we have
here in Costa Rica.

Although we miss our friends and family we
are thankful for the new friends who have become
"family" while we are here.

Even though we needed to go to school on
Thanksgiving Day we are thankful for
the christian teachers and school that we
are able to be part of.

Grammer is the first class of the day for 2 hours.

I am thankful for an oven that is
American - I know this because it
says bake and broil and my empleado
has to ask me how to work the oven.

We are thankful for our health
and have been blessed with good
health since we are here.

Umbrellas are another thing we are thankful
for especially when we have to walk in the rain
to school on Thanksgiving day.

Cody's birthday is on December 9th.
He will be 8 years old.
Did you know that 8 year old boys
living in Costa Rica love getting
birthday cards from USA? 
It takes about 10 days for a letter to
get here from the states.  FYI
