A few weeks ago we went with another family to go see the volcano that is close by. When we left our house in the morning, it was a beautiful sunny day...but till we got to the volcano it was raining and no visiablity and it was so-o cold. It was hard to believe that it was the same country.
So we didn't see into the volcano but brought home some volcanic rocks.
We then ate at a resturant with great arroz con pollo (rice and chicken) with our friends and
then went back to their house for coffee and bread. They often eat bread (french bread) with their coffee and they eat it with sour cream. I perfer cookies with my coffee but the bread is good too.
February also means that there is a birthday to celebrate!! Lauren is now 13 years old. And we decided to go to the roller skating rink to celebrate.
Lots of cake for all the people.
Ready to sing Happy Birthday!
It was a fun evening and many brusies for those who have never skated before.
We continue to be blessed with health, for which we are very grateful!
We all miss home and family and friends and church but continue to learn more spanish and look forward to August 10th when we graduate!
My two favorite guys!
Last night Kortnee and Cody made a tent and slept in it just for fun.
This morning I heard them giggling around 5am.
Thank you for your continued support!
Blessings!
