Weiler visitors!

We have been so blessed by having so many friends and family visit us while we spend a year here in Costa Rica .

Our most recent visitors were two of Willie's brothers along with three Weiler cousins.   Willie's brother Glenn surprised us at the airport when we picked up the others.

They brought all the ingredients for 2 meals,
this is the one Lauren and Melody made.

They brought us lots of goodies like...venison,  scraple, pepperoni,  cheese,  and my favorite...Cool Whip.

So the tradition is that when we pick someone up at the airport, we bring freshly cut-up pineapples along for our guests.  It's always refreshing after a long day traveling.   Here is the question they asked after tasting the pineapples “did you put sugar on these? ”    “No,” was my response.

Yes, the pineapples are that sweet!!!

We had nice weather while they were here and were blessed to be able to go and see a volcano.   It was stunning,  and a great reminder of the AWESOME God we serve.

So many fun memories.
- playing grounders with their uncles after dark...
- a day downtown
- typical food and american food
- swimming
- lots and lots of pineapples (like 6 in two days)
- lots of laughs

  1. How neat to have family come to visit! I haven't seen his brothers in a long time, but they still look like "Weilers"! :)
And it looks like you are about to experience having a child taller than you, too! ;)
    The pineapples sound YummY!!
