Home Run Derby 2

The day started out early with set up and Willie organizing all the volunteers.  It was cloudy and perfect weather to start a long day.

Without these people we couldn't have had a successful day
THANK YOU!

63 softball players participated.

For some their hopes of winning were dashed when they reached 3 outs before hitting enough home runs to be on the leader board..

There were a total of 83 home runs hit, with the winner hitting 18.

Before the five finalist played for the trophies, Willie shared his testimony and many people heard the plan of salvation from a local pastor of Calvary Chapel, San Pedro.  As one of our friends said afterwards, we may not know how many lives were changed that day till we get to heaven, but we do know that it was God's plan that they heard on that day the free gift He offers thru His son, Jesus.

We also served 300 hot dogs with sugar cookies to all that came out.

Grill masters, Curtis and Fred.

Thank you all for your prayers.  The day was a success and to God be the glory.
